Senior Practitioner – Spinal Surgery
An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Practitioner – Spinal Surgery to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Chelmsford, Essex area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital provides a wide range of services including Surgery, Medicine, Oncology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgery, and Paediatrics. They are continually introducing new technology to ensure they provide the best experience for patients and support for their hard working teams and have just opened 2 additional purpose built theatres
**NMC/HCPC registration - registration should not have any restrictions or conditions**
As the Senior Practitioner your key duties include:
• You will be expected to deliver the highest quality of planned care for patients
• You will be supporting the theatre manager both clinically and managerially
• To provide exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre
• Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrating company values at all time
• Provide clinical leadership for Spinal Surgical Team/ specified theatres
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Have strong managerial and leadership skills
• Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations
• Scrub experience – minimum of 2 years in spinal surgery
• Previous experiencing managing and leading a clinical team – desirable
• Be forward thinking, enthusiastic, and highly motivated.
• ALS/EPALS certificate desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
• Valid Intermediate Life Support training
