Clinical Lead
An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Clinical Lead to work in an exceptional care home based in the Wheatley, Oxfordshire area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
This special care home offers nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, intermediate care as an alternative to hospital stay, and specialist care for residents who suffer with mental health conditions - where they support residents to re-establish their mental wellbeing, sustain independence and prepare for a move into supported living or their own home
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC Pin**
As the Clinical Lead your key responsibilities include:
• Responsible for consistently monitoring the standard of care being delivered to all service users to ensure it is at the optimum levels at all times
• Ensuring that all residents receive quality medical and personal care and that care plans are fully maintained
• Act at all times in line with NMC Code of Professional Conduct
• Responsible for monitoring the state of wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any change impacting on care and care plans, ensuring that new needs are met and written records are amended to reflect any variation
• Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident and ensure effective communication is maintained
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• The ability to lead a team, analyse problems and propose solutions or improvements
• Able to communicate effectively and to develop professional relationships
• Understands and effectively uses IT and communication systems required for the role
• Respectful of the values, views and needs of others
• Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload
• Experience of delivering nursing care within elderly health care sector
• Experience of participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
The successful Clinical Lead will receive an excellent salary of £22.00 per hour and the annual salary is £45,760 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 40 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
