Service Development Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Service Development Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups and other commissioners of Specialist Residential, Supported Living and Older People services across East of England

** Desirable but not essential – knowledge of social health care and services (Graduate or equivalent with a proven track record of new business development, ideally within the social care sector) **

As the Service Development Manager your key responsibilities include:
• Build and maintain strong links with social care and health commissioning authorities, purchasing commissioners and other referrers to generate enquiries and referrals
• Identify and manage the referral process through to admission working closely with Operational Teams and key personnel
• Support Operational Teams in the reviewing and development of services, new business opportunities and work closely with the Bidding Team on the completion of tenders
• Support in the development of core and existing services providing appropriate feedback and support when required to ensure services are at a quality that provides best value to commissioners
• Support in the development of Sales and Marketing plans at a localised level to ensure services are promoted strategically and effectively
• Provide regular activity reports to the Service Development Director and Managing Director of the region
• Prepare and present monthly business reports to Regional Senior Management Team
• Proactively manage referrals to and from other Priory divisions for service users as required

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Proven self-starter with excellent track record in delivering against sales targets
• Strong analytical skills, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including report writing and presentation capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Desirable but not essential–knowledge of social health care and service
• The candidate must reside within the Sales Region

The successful Service Development Manager will receive an excellent salary of £50,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 42 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
