Family Therapist - Eating Disorders Unit

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Family Therapist - Eating Disorders Unit to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Bromley, Kent area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers

One of the leading private hospitals treating addictions and general psychiatric conditions, as well as having an accredited eating disorder service

**Will be accredited with the UKCP, AFT registered, and hold a relevant qualification in Family and Systemic Psychotherapy**

As the Family Therapist your key duties include:
• Provide a systemic family therapy service to the patients receiving inpatient care and their families
• Providing specialist systemic assessment and intervention for patients and their families
• Attend or contribute on ward rounds, CPAs, and MDT assessments, formulations, and care planning
• Work across a variety of age groups and varying presentations, with an excellent track record in working in a high pressured and demanding environment
• Prioritise own workload whilst coordinating with colleagues in the home CAMHS locality teams so service users do not wait longer than necessary for a planned intervention and have a seamless transition to community CAMHS services
• Plan and chair multi-disciplinary/multi-agency professional and family meetings (e.g. care planning/discharge planning)

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Experience of carrying out supervision both individual and in a group setting
• Experience of making informed decisions sometimes in difficult circumstances
• Strong track record of innovation and making changes to the operation to further improve the work environment and site performance
• Passionate about providing high quality care
• Aware of current research findings and implement evidence-based practice in line with the CAMHS service lines and relevant NICE guidelines

The successful Family Therapist will receive an excellent salary from £38,000 - £44,000 pro rata DOE. This exciting position is a Part Time role working 22.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
