Clinical Team Leader
A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Clinical Team Leader to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Darlington, Country Durham area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital provides specialist inpatient care for adults with mental health needs, who present with complex needs and behaviours that challenge, in a safe and supportive environment
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RMN or RNLD Nurse with a valid NMC Pin**
As the Clinical Team Leader your key responsibilities include:
Work with the Ward Manager in the delivery of their rehabilitation and recovery vision
Ensure that MHA and MCA standards are upheld and work to uphold NMC's code of practice whilst ensuring all relevant policies are in place, reviewed and updated as and when necessary (e.g. ward guidelines/patient information) in liaison with the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team
Provide support for the Ward manager in delivering Clinical Leadership for the nursing team at all times
You will participate in pre-admission assessments and the hospital clinical governance agenda and monitor standards of care through regular audit and take action where standards are not met
Ensure clinical records are well maintained and systems are in place for staff to communicate effectively on clinical issues ensuring awareness of legal implications and ensure all ward management responsibilities are met and all reports are up to date
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Noticeable leadership skills along with a strong drive to develop other members of the team on
Possess excellent clinical, team and communication skills together with vision and enthusiasm to work with service users
Minimum of 2 years nursing experience
Able to demonstrate quality in delivery of nursing care and the clinical environment
A forward-thinking Nurse, who will lead and coach staff by example
The successful Clinical Team Leader will receive an excellent salary up to £44,648 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
