Deputy Ward Manager
An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Deputy Ward Manager to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Attleborough, Norfolk. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This hospital offers purpose-built services with medium secure, low secure, and both locked and open rehabilitation opportunities. They offer a range of specialist recovery pathways, all at one site
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN with a valid NMC Pin**
As the Deputy Ward manager your key responsibilities include:
• Supervision and management of care staff
• Planning, assessing, delivering and evaluating individual care
• Planning staff rotas
• Establish and maintain outstanding communication with clients, relatives and colleagues
• Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager
• Undertake on call within a rota
• Demonstrate consistent leadership and role modelling
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Clinical experience and leadership
• Experienced in delivering and receiving supervision
• Ability to be able to assess and prioritise clinical situations
• Management of effective communication between medical and nursing staff both verbal and written is a key element of this role
• Experience in Mental Health services
• At least 3 years, or equivalent experience post-registration
The successful Deputy Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £44,648 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
