Staff Nurse

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed RMN or RNLD to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Northampton area. You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers

This service provides highly specialised neurobehavioral rehabilitation for males and females aged 18 years and older, with an acquired brain injury (ABI), including traumatic brain injury (TBI) and strokes

** To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC Pin**

As a Nurse your key duties include:
• Providing high quality, safe and effective care
• Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise engagement, experience and outcomes
• Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
• Contributing to assessments, implementing the nursing process with the individual, and monitoring and supporting resident progress
• Mentoring and supporting student nurses and other members of the team
• Promoting professional development within the team and implementing quality improvement initiatives

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines, requests and professional practices
• Evidence of post registration continuing professional development
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
• Ability to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practise.
• Excellent verbal , interpersonal and written communication skills
• IT literate
• Minimum 6 months post registration experience within Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing with evidence of continued professional development in relevant field

The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £31,000 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
