Clinical Deputy Manager
An amazing job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Clinical Deputy Manager to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Christchurch, Dorset area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers
This nursing home specialises in nursing and dementia care from a fabulous location that makes for a popular seaside retreat for individuals
As a Clinical Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:
Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care
You will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills
You will focus on residents with complex needs, so its vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
Care plan development and assessments
Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
Good clinical skills
Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £41,184 per annum. This exciting role is a Full Time role working 36 hours a week * 2x 12hr nursing shifts + 12hrs per week supernumerary*. In return for our hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
