Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD)

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated RGN, RMN or RNLD to work in an exceptional care home within the Carlton, Nottingham area. As a Nurse you will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This care home offers residential care for people who need help with daily tasks, as well as residential dementia care where they support residents to maintain their independence and individuality, encouraging social activity and building relationships within the home. They also provide nursing care for those who have complex medical needs, and nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions

As a Nurse your key duties include:
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines – identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively
• Participate knowledgably and professionally to all inspection visits, ensuring your team is ready at all times to do the same
• Champion appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical, social and psychological needs
• Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees
• Understand the key targets of your host home and support the Home Manager in their achievement by promoting and practicing high standards of nursing care and ensuring staff and shifts are supervised in a smooth manner

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
• Good Nursing Experience
• Excellent Clinical Skills
• Able to write Care Plans
• Able to show Empathy and warmth
• Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, phlebotomy etc.
• Able to show a can-do attitude always

To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD with a valid NMC Pin
